Description

By now, it would be expected for you to be wary of hearing terms like “unprecedented” and “extraordinary” times.  The COVID-19 pandemic has rattled, and perhaps forever changed, our professional and world views.  Eventually, the catastrophic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic will subside, but substantive changes to the insurance profession and workers’ compensation will likely persist. In this session, participants will learn: What are the emerging and escalating workers’ compensation risks that must be better understood due to the pandemic? What can we learn from the pandemic that will help us better serve our clients in the future? What can we expect from insurance companies, state and federal governments, medical providers, and the courts in a post-pandemic world?
